The art of Questioning - Using NLP questioning to elicit the real source of issues and gathering requirements.

Chris Collingwood will describe a NLP linguistic process for gathering superior information from others. The first NLP information gathering model - the meta model - was revolutionary in that it provided specific questions in response to thirteen linguistic forms. This was the first questioning tool to respond to the form of speakers' language, not the limits of the subject matter. This enables questioners to gather high quality information without deep subject knowledge.

A good idea at the time

Well, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, my business name is a portmanteau word. So my interest in Requirements Engineering (Business Analysis) is one of the main reasons for this site’s existance.

Yet Another Blog

So, I’m going to join many hundreds of thousands before me, and start a blog. There are some that say that the blog is dead, that people are now using spaces like facebook and other micro-blogging technologies. Apparently there is a Gartner study that says there are 200 million ex-bloggers out there. However, I will not be perturbed!

So, my plan for this blog is to write about things I find out about Business Analysis, which I will post here. However, from time to time, I may breakout and write about other things that tweak my interest.

The first thing I must do is go and find a how to “write a blog” blog.
